Come and spend an evening with us in true River Cottage style. The night is only available to you, our members, giving you the chance to party with members of the River Cottage Team.

The evening will begin at 6pm when Hugh will join you for a glass of local sparkly and delicious seasonal canapés whilst you relax in the River Cottage Kitchen Garden. Your fellow guests will include a handful of our regular contributors and authors of our fantastic River Cottage handbooks. These will probably include Ray Smith our expert butcher, John Wright of Foraging fame, Head Gardener, Mark Diacono, Pam ‘the jam’ Corbin and Richard Hicks our larger than life poultry keeper.

At 8.00ish it will be time for you to take your seats in the marquee where Hugh will kick off the party with a welcome toast. Our team of chefs will then serve you a four course set menu, with a bottle of wine complimentary for each River Cottage member. The menu will feature wonderful seasonal ingredients sourced from Park Farm and local organic growers - a side of one of our Ruby Red cattle, or a belly of one of our Saddle Back pigs perhaps. The dinner will also include a collection of our favourite West Country cheeses, all rounded off with a sumptuous home made dessert and coffee.

We have some treats in store for your after dinner entertainment… all members’ names will be entered into our free prize draw, giving you the chance to win money-can’t-buy River Cottage experiences, all to the fantastic tunes of a top local band who are guaranteed to get you on your feet.

Tickets: A member is entitled to buy as many tickets as they want. Each member who books, will be entered into a free prize draw, winners revealed on the evening. This is a biannual event exclusively for members.

Location: This course is run from River Cottage H.Q on the Dorset/Devon borders. Full address details of H.Q. will be provided once you have booked.

Wine/drink: Dining will take place in a marquee for this special event, so we won’t be running our usual BYO policy. A well stocked bar will be available on the night. We have a wide selection of the finest organic wines. We will be serving organic cordial and iced water from our own well. A complimentary bottle of wine per member, plus a glass of local sparkling wine for everyone is included in the ticket price.

Hugh availability: Hugh won’t be able to stay the whole evening, but the party should give you a good chance to meet him, if you haven’t already.

Dress for a Party: Smart casual and being on a farm we would suggest sensible footwear.

We don't have camping facilities but for information on local campsites and self catering accommodation, call the Lyme Regis Tourist Information Office on  01297 442  183. They will be very happy to help.
